rehi
What you see here is the beginning of a complete site re-design--am looking for ways to reduce bandwidth while at the same time sharing even more knowledge and free patterns! Am working on a booklet for my students with beginner tips, instruction and patterns which will be available to everyone. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed and posted to check to see if I'm still alive--I am definitely in residence and have several fun goodies planned for the near future.

other news
In other news--there isn't any! We are still waiting on our adoption referral after 18 long months. If we hear nothing from Ecuador in January, we will switch to the Guatemala program. And the reason(s) for the long wait? In a nutshell: the Ecuadorian government just isn't placing a priority on finding homes for their available children. Therefore, the kids are getting older and older (and other children who need homes are out on the streets) and prospective families like ours are exploring other options. Sad, eh?

feliz navidad
In spite of having to go through another holiday season without our little girl, I have loads to be thankful for and most days I am just glad to be on Earth creating things, enjoying friends and family, and reflecting on the mysteries of life. Have a wonderful holiday, and check back soon for more new stuff at bruxknits! xoxo
